An effective workforce management solution blends seamlessly with your existing systems through integration, dramatically increasing the usefulness of the solution.
Our solutions seamlessly integrate with many H.R., Payroll, and ERP business systems to provide a complete workforce management solution for our customers. Integration is accomplished using traditional flat-file import and export, through web services or RESTful services. We also integrates with over 350 payroll/HR systems.
Web Services and RESTful Services
NOVAtime Enterprise Web Services (N.E.W.S.), a SOAP-based web services, and its RESTful Services are connectors for integration with other products and solutions, such as HR, Payroll, or ERP systems. They support real-time data transfer between our system and these systems, meaning that as employees are added or updated in the third-party application, they are automatically added or updated in the our system as well, thus eliminating redundant data entry for our clients.
These N.E.W.S. platforms use SOAP XML messages and RESTful Services use web APIs, offering transportability of data; it allows us to provide interoperability with virtually any system that can accept these industry-standard messages, all without IT effort in firewall or router configuration.
Additionally, we have taken vast measures to put our Time and Attendance / Workforce Management Solution and NOVAtime Enterprise Web Services (N.E.W.S.) through a series of rigorous penetration testing and has attained Plynt Application Security Certification since 2008.Both SOAP-based N.E.W.S. and RESTful Services attain Plynt’s Application Security Certification in August 2016, which indicates that we have adequate measures to guard against remote adversaries for integration connectors, while protecting against a wide range of threats.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Our system supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) single sign-on (SSO) to interface with customers and business partners. SSO in general is a property of access control of multiple related, but independent software systems. With SSO a user logs in with a single ID and password to gain access to a connected system or systems without using different usernames or passwords. SAML is an XML-based open-standard data format for exchanging authentication and authorization data between various systems, in particular, between an identity provider and a service provider.
We have implemented SAML SSO successfully with some popular identity providers such as Okta, Ping and Microsoft ADFS, and Microsoft Azure AD. SSO capability is extended to the native mobile apps if SAML 2.0 is implemented.
Traditional Flat-File Import and Export
Our system supports a flat-file import of employees, labor groups, accrual data from H.R./Payroll partners, as well as exporting summarized time data as payroll files for our H.R./Payroll partners to import into their
systems for payroll process. We currently offer integration with over 350 H.R. / Payroll / ERP partners.
